Hey Mom
Your emails are awesome, I love to read them every week. That's cool that you got a job offer at Archibald's! I love that place! I only can say to pray and fast to know if it's something you want to do or should do. Those doilies are sweetness. The families will love them! That's crazy that Devin's birthday came and went. It's awesome that Layne was cool about saying what he said, hes a great leader/boss. I will go back to Kent's I think to work because I love it a lot, and Layne is a great boss. Was Call's awesome? I remember when we went to there to eat during the summer before I left. I can't believe that Cole is already going to go to Germany now! Craziness no?
Our baptisms fell through all 5 of them. 4 of them were a family, the mom and 3 kids. Her husband was in the hospital when we met her and so we've never met him yet. He's still in the hospital and she had to go to the hospital too cause she has lung and heart problems and more too that put her in the hospital also. So the kids are with aunt and grandma right now and to baptize them we need permission from the parents who are in the hospital right now, but we know that they're ok! The other kid, Heber lost his animo, whats animo...like his animation, interest, that he had when we met him and when he received his answer. He wants to get baptized but he said he doesn't feel ready, we did all we could to help him see that yes he was ready but he didn't want to do it. Let's see this week, he will get baptized this week! =D
I learned something about faith this week, there are 5 types of faith,
1. Alma 32:27- desire to believe
2. James 2 18 or 19- our works (don't have my scriptures now)
3. Moroni 10:4-5- knowledge and testimony
4. Ether 12:12-miracles
5. Helaman 10:5-power
We were about to go home one night to make it in the house at 9, I said that we needed to invite Gabriel to church now so that we can pass by in the morning and go with him. My companion said, he lives in a really dangerous part of the area, I knew that and I also knew that if I wanted this kid in church tomorrow that we needed to go and invite him. It was a test of faith and I wanted to have power and see miracles using faith. We went the next morning and he didn't want to go so we entered the house with permission and we were like come on man come on and he was like, nnoooo I'm tired and I don't wanna I gotta stay here with my brothers and sisters, and his brother called his mom at work cause he wanted to go and the mom let him. He didn't believe in God when we met him, he didn't go he stayed home with his sisters but wanted to go but the kid Gabriel went! His dad is a pastor of an Evengelio church and he still went to church and enjoyed it! In 2 weeks we will baptize him, I know that we went cause we showed our faith, I didn't doubt in my mind that he wouldn't go I told myself that I wasn't leaving without this freaking kid coming with us, and it was freaking cold on top of it all. Frost grew on some people's hair and snot cause it was so cold. Next week were going to go with his brother too. Gabriel who went to church is 18 and his brother Santiago is 14! My faith grew and so did my companions faith. If one has faith he or she will see Miracles in their work, but you have to put your part because faith means belief with action together, to do the impossible. We did the impossible and it was awesome.
I just wanted to share that with you, I know that the Lord protects his servants and that he recognizes our strengths (esfuerzos) in the work and we can see miracles and have power in our faith. I love you mom mucho and I am glad all is well! When we look unto the Lord for help we will receive it if we do our part to receive it. Like if we want answers prayer, scripture study and even fast may be necessary! I love the gospel mom and I am glad I am here! I love you and dad and hope dad had a fantastic birthday and all. I thought about him, his birthday was wrote in my agenda and Elder Loza's brother turned 7 on the 26th too! cool no!
well love you mom,
Ps they have ramen noodles here, product of USA, they're the Maruchan ramen noodles, nothing here is made in the USA but myself and ramen noodles here! =D haha
Love you Mom and Dad!

Hey Mom I am here,
I am happy to inform you that there will be a baptism this week. I'll copy and paste it here...
Down here were working with people for baptism we were doing divisions and I went to visit this kid named Heber and he's awesome. He's been ready for baptism but his mom would never let him. She finally came down to saying that he had to improve his grades and stuff after me and my companion were like begging her about it. I said that by being baptized and recieving the gift of the holy ghost that it would only help him in his schooling and stuff. She signed the paper and he's getting baptized this Saturday and confirmed on Sunday!=) I didn't do it all, my companion helped and we used a lot of scripture but what really did it in the end was the Holy Spirit. If we say what the spirit tells us to say or in other words if we let the spirit teach the lessons then things will work out. Me and my companion but especially my companion felt that we should have visited him and so we listen to the spirit and now he's getting baptized! Always trust the spirit, the mission has helped me understand and recognize the spirit like crazy!
This was so awesome! I am glad that it's working out. We had planned 5 for the week but 4 of them was a family that the mom is in the hospital now. I think she's ok, she has lung problems and when the floor cleaners cleaned the buildings floors she was like allergic to the cleaning supply and she was smelling it all day cause it's where she lives. She already has to use oxygen tubes to breathe. The other person is the one above in the story, Heber, We have been talking with another kid who's dad is a pastor of a church and he feels the spirit in the lessons a ful and knows the bible well but I think he's scared to leave the church where his dad is preaching at and go to ours, but I think he really wants to go to ours but doesn't want to have problems with his dad. He likes us though and said that he would play soccer with us today! =D We are going to see what happens, if he will pray then I am sure will get somewhere with this kid and he will go on a mission. His name is Gabriel and he's 18. Heber is 15, his birthday was this last Friday I think.
I am happy that bros went on trek too. They will be glad that they went, they will complain maybe but they're glad for sure! They said that they loved Friday! That's good! =D I am doing good here. I pulled out 400 pesos last week and bought an Argentine World Cup soccer shirt. It's sweet. I bought it from a member who sells stuff outside in the street. (many do that) everything's good here, the other week I bought a tan sweater, a Columbia brand rain jacket and an Adidas workout long sleeve. pretty cool eh =D thanks for all the money mom and dad.
When you go to Call's You'll have to get me something to eat too. I love Call's a lot! When I get back let's go there! I am really glad Caleb Hardy is ok. He is awesome and I don't want him to die. Was he drinking the red bull cranberry with mountain dew, if so he is justified cause that is freaking good! haha.
The pictures that Bradon Manning did are really good! He's awesome and could get rich doing that! I talked to Trevor, he wrote me and I have another email here from him that I haven't opened yet. I hope he can get better and know that things get better. Thanks for talking to his mom that will help him! God put you and her to talk so that she could tell Trevor and he could do better!=D Seriously! I love you mom and tell dad that I said HAPPY BIRTHDAY YA OLE FART! hehahahahahaha I hope you have a good week mom and dad. I am down here in the hood and doing good! Tell the DWSERS i said hi! =D tell Nate and Mel to save me a scone and a carmel!
Love you!

10 months on his mission
Hey mom how's it going in the north?
This week was good. We are working hard in finding people to baptize. We had this kid but his dad wouldn't let him get baptized so we found this family of 5 and they have been listening to the lessons from us in the evenings and have really humbled themselves to hear accept this message! Times like this make all the bad times go away! I love seeing people growing in the gospel and taking their first steps in to the gospel when we teach them. We will be baptizing Griselda, Adrian, Enes, And Naiomi on the 29th of June! Maybe the dad too but hes in the hospital and we haven't talked to him yet but maybe him too! =D The members here work really hard to help us in the mission work. There are only few times when teenage boys will walk with us in a storm to go teach the gospel, there are some kids like that here! It amazes me how much the lord loves us, I feel like I receive a new understanding every day and every week of how much he loves everyone! I am so happy I got sent here to serve the Lord! The People are humble and prepared to receive the message and its a pleasure for me to me the messenger! =D I decided that I needed to make lots of changes so I woke up at 6:30 today and did push ups, I can be a lot more efficient but I am starting and it's going. I know that progress of others also depends on me and when I had my first baptism was when I was my most obedient time in the whole mission! I am going to be better now I decided to change! I am happy for the atonement and for repentance and the ability to change. I am going to have more success now like this!
I love the mission! =D
I bought a sweater, a Columbia rain jacket and a work out hoody with out the hood from Adidas! I got a lot for our money system I have really nice things and I got them for really cheap for us! I am happy. Fyi the CTR rain jacket gets wet on the inside just so you know for brothers! This Columbia is awesome at keeping me dry! I am taller than my companion but everyone is a lot taller than him he is just really short! haha We get along though and have a lot of good laughs =D But we both like to work hard and move along the work of the Lord! Tell grandma I said thanks and that i am doing great! Tell Richard Mourtinsen thank you also and that he is a blessing!=D That's crazy that Paulina already went to the airport and left. It's good that there is Skype and technology! I am happy for Cole being able to go on the 7th to see her! I still remember when she first got here to Murca and went to McKinley school lunch! How crazy that time passes soo fast!
In the explosion is everyone ok? I am glad the cop didn't get hurt! I am glad you are working at Kent's again and that all is well! I have to go now because I am going to eat real Mexican tacos from Elder Arcorn! I am excited as long as I dont have fire crap! haha Well mom I thank you for your example of charity and unconditional love and patience! I love you mom and I can't believe everyone is getting married. Hopefully there is still someone hot for me...hahahaha. I love you mom!

Hey Ma,
Como le va? Todo bien? =) me compañero solo habla castellano (español) y no sabe casi nada de ingles. hahaha pero esta bien porque yo puedo comunicar me bien con él y es muy chistoso él.
[In English: How are you? All right? =) My companion only speaks Castilian (Spanish) and knows almost no English. hahaha but that's okay because I can communicate well with him and he is very funny.]
Being here isn't like I thought it would be. I thought it would be dangerous but it's really not as bad as I thought. First off, I carry almost nothing while I am in the street and everyone knows that we have the clothes we have because we the kids from the church. We are also always walking on the defense and we just greet everyone and be nice to them. There is a scripture in Doctrine and Covenants I forgot where it's at but it was saying like to make friends with the worst of them and you'll know that you'll be safe in the street cause your friends with the worst of the worst out there, and it was comparing it to being friends with God, If you feel safe cause you've made friends with the lowest of all just imagine making friends with the Highest of them all which is God. so we are friends with all the people but most importantly with God haha. We are safe. =)
The pictures you sent me are theeee best hahaha. I miss shooting a ful and I miss dws pero mal. I want a bbq will you send me one? hahaha. That's great that Paulina could be taken care of by you just as if she was with her parents. The way you feel about people when they take care of me like Matias or Krenz or Cabaña is the way I bet her parents feel about you guys!
That is sooooooooooooooo awesome and such a blessing for us what doctor Gardner did. He is an angel and I am very happy for what he did I will be praying a ful for him! He will be blessed a ful! =D tell the man I said Hi =D
Krenz say their name like Krents. I am trying to respond to the questions for this my writing is terrible and very unorganized. Will you tell the Hughes family and Trevor Mortimer I said hi please and tell Trevor the letter he sent to me a really long time ago helped me out a lot. =)
Hopefully things will still work out between Cole and Paulina. And that bros will do a mission. One thing that might help their desire is to do Family Home Evening and watch Mormon messages. Those are the best! Watch one called la misma camiseta in English it might be like the same jersey or something. esta re bueno eso. I speak Spanish pretty good now, I have got people to believe I am Argentime! =D I can't wait to talk to grandpa and Braydon Wise too.
Well right now I am with the zone leaders and another elder. my comp and some other elders went to play soccer and we are going to a place called once today, like a big cheap mall. I am going to buy a sweater today if that's cool wichyall. =D I Love you mom. I Love you too dad. Please tell all I say hi and that I love them! =)
Love you MOM and DAD!

Transfer Day
Hows everyone doing? I got switched to another area today. I really miss San Pedro where I was at but I came into an area with a lot of work to get done so I am happy about that. I am with Elder Loza. He is Argentine and is a great missionary. The area that I am in now is called Los Monoblocks kinda by the Villa Soldati where I was the last week for a few days, in the capital of Buenos Aires. I am going to have to get used to using the bus again and being in a city where there are more people than dogs cows and bikes where I used to be. haha. I am happy to be in my new area cause things move on and things have to progress, but hopefully here we will wear out the baptism pool, haha. It was difficult to leave everyone in San Pedro but hopefully I will find some sweet people here too. I love you all!=)
