We went to the birthday party of this little girl who is a member with her family. she loves the elders so we went, this little girl loves to give hugs to everyone fyi...but we got robbed too, like the pics show. [I believe this is his sense of humor]

Yesterday we were blessed with the baptism of Jessica Gramajo and this next week she will be confirmed and another kid named Johnny Quintana of 14 years old will be baptized after church! I will send photos!
This week has been really cold, it makes working hard that much more rewarding! I love it. Yesterday we had a conference with the stake president of where I am serving in Chacabuco and our mission president also. I learned some cool things,
1. Obedience and unity brings success
2. Obedience brings blessings but Exact Obedience brings us Miracles.
I also like when the stake president, Presidente Catala told a story when he was a bishop he remembers seeing a park full of people and he said he thought to himself "There's gotta be like 400 hundred people here, I would like to have 400 hundred people in church this week" he said. Then he heard a voice say to him, "What would you do, bishop, with 400 hundred new people in church this week?" He thought to himself " I don't know" Afterwards he taught us that one can have all the desires in the world to have something, but if this person isn't prepared to receive such a thing then they will not receive it. That we should prepare ourselves individually and as wards and stakes to further the work of the Lord. We can prepare ourselves by being exactly obedient to the Lord and doing everything he asks, and receive revelations and guidance from the Lord in how to guide his church here on the earth and how to become who we should be and meet our potentials.
It was soo cool what I learned and the knowledge I gained.
I was also studying about Faith. There are 5 Principles of faith.
1. Desire to believe
2. works
3. Testimony and knowledge
4. Miracles
5. Power
The Faith is a principle of Power. I studied about how Nephi grew and passed each step and phase of it all. It explains a lot of it in 1 Nephi 2:16 his desire and his works (what he did to gain knowledge and testimony). He received knowledge and testimony and the miracle of his faith was when he got the plates from the servant of Laban. and the power of his faith was when his brothers had him bound up on the ship he broke the bands that tied him up. I am amazed what one can learn through reading the Book Of Mormon. I am happy to say that i know that this book is true and that it is the base of the church. Without the Book of Mormon this church wouldn't exist. I leave this as my testimony in as things I have been able to learn through prayer, revelation and study in the name of our beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ amen!

It's been a while
That is a good song title to my next country hit no? "It's been a while" haha kidding, but I have been slacking on the mail. The area I am in is sweet. Its called MonoBlock in the Villa Soldati. It's full of buildings that are like 14 floors high and there are a lot of people. We are having a baptism this weekend and then on the 3rd of August. I am excited, We have seen many miracles this week with finding new people. I am excited to see the results of all this. I am about to hit my one year mark and thought about how time flies so fast. It's like I am on the downside hill of the mountain now and I don't know how to feel. haha. This week was an awesome week because I had a new companion from Colombia. I didn't know the area very well and neither did he. We started with nothing and due to the humility of being a little lost and the hard work we put in we are being blessed immensely with fruits. (like apples and oranges, haha) jk. But seriously I know that the Lord has been working by our side all this time, because if he wasn't we'd be in step one still. We are doing well here.
We talked to a lady that would not accept the Book of Mormon, she only wanted the bible and said that this gospel was a gospel from the man. Explaining the Book of Mormon to her, I feel like my testimony grew, because even though she didn't want to accept it I felt the spirit testify like it says in 2 Nephi 29: 8 The book of Mormon is just more proof that God exists and loves everyone and that everyone is important to him. People will try to disprove the Book of Mormon because they know that everything is based on that, Joseph Smith, The Church, Everything. I feel so blessed to be able to be responsible for the work of the Lord here. It's a responsibility that if done well and with obedience the joy received from doing it is more than imaginable. I love you guys and hope you have a great week, For those that want to feel the same way, grab your Book of Mormon, If you don't have one then talk to the Mormons, Read it, Ponder it, And then pray about it!

11 months on his mission
Here was crazy when Argentina beat the Netherlands and I was given permission to watch that game. It was soo awesome! I had a head pain when I was shouting at the goals. we watched it in a members house, Johnny Cornejo. Today I got a new companion. I am sad because I got along really well with Elder Loza, like better than anyone else we were like good friends! I am with Elder Micanquer from Colombia. I will send a photo. We didn't have permission to watch the finals because it was the Sabbath Day so we didn't see it but I heard a lot about it. I know I will get along really well with this elder cause I am getting along with all my companions and he is a really nice elder. I have improved so much on speaking the language like an Argentine and speaking the language in general. I really enjoy the mission I am really happy here. I found out that I either need to take a shower at 6:30 or right when the alarm goes off get outta bed while turning it off and do a water splash and a work out. I will do that and baptize a ful with Elder Micanquer. I am trying to help Hector Hugo and his brother Alvin go on missions. Hector Hugo is sending his papers its Alvin that I want to focus on more, he said that he's not doing things good and that he lost his testimony that he used to have, hopefully we can find a way to help him get it back, could you please pray for him =D ? Our baptism didn't go through because the lady who was going to get baptized still lives with the person she broke up with because he doesn't have anywhere else to live. I really love my area and the members that live here. I am excited to go and baptize and work hard and be obedient. I can't believe Cole already went to Germany! Some people think that I am German. They say I look like Tony Kroos from the Germany team. Everyone was really sad here and stuff. I gave the black tie you and dad gave me for Christmas to my companion Elder Loza cause he left and we did a tie trade and he didn't have many ties or any good ties so I let him choose one and he took it. I miss it but I feel happy that he has it! I have started to study Preach My Gospel more diligently and I am in love with the book and everyone should read it! It serves for members also I am trying to think of something else to say but I can't think of anything else. It was cool that Cole was in Germany and that I was in Argentina craziness huh. With Elder Loza we always wrestled and had a good time making raps and joking around a lot. We got along really well. My companion is district leader again and so my whole mission I have been with a district leader. Coolness no?! Well I am happy you got a new job and that you like it. What do you do in your job? That note from Calli was really funny tell her I said that she have to go buy the food herself and quit complaining. haha love you mom and dad. Here's some fotos.

So as you know, yesterday I went to the despedidas of the elders and hermanas that finished their missions almost. Next week is transfer week so yes I will email you on Tuesday. I hope I don't leave the area. I like the people here but we hope to stay like we are for one transfer more. I am happy for being here. Thanks for the letters and packages and everything! The photos too. I love them all! In my house we don't have heating or air conditioning, our place is the temperature of the outside more or less, but we have a little heater and we turn on the stove and heat things up too. The shower is hot too. I like to drink a drink called Mate Cocido. Its num num in the tum tum. I like alfajores too. The food and coke here is really good. I cant believe that Cole is already going to Germany today! I hope he is ok. Paulina is really happy to see him and that he is spending his money to go and visit her way over there.=D
I got the Easter package too like 2 weeks ago. I love the blanket and my companion does too, he has watched Duck Dynasty in it's translated version so I am sure it's not as funny but he likes it. Don't worry about Marta she is a nice lady I don't think she is mad at all. I saw Lalo, Familia Mallo, Familia Maru, Familia Peralta, Familia Dadonna, Augustin, and Lucila and Maxi Franco, who finally got baptized, greeted me! It was soo cool. I hope all is well. I don't know what else to say. I am sure we'll have a baptism of Heber this weekend and hopefully 3 or 4 more depending on what happens if the kids can get permission from their dad. This weekend should be Heber Rodriguez, Adrian, Enes, and Naiomi Cardozo. I saw like everyone. It was so cool, it made me want to go back. Matias and Pablo said to get in the car and let's go haha. I miss them so much. When I saw Familia Maru walk in to church in Soldati I was like wow that woman looks a lot like Gaby Maru...oh wait it is Gaby and Matias and Franco and Tobias and Daphnee! I was so happy. They are awesome! People thought that it was my family and Marus were laughing. I still think that people think that I was part of their family. haha. My companion is ready to play football, yup football so I might have to go soon. I love you mom and tell Nate I said Happy Birthday on Wednesday. I hope you enjoy Archilbald's, maybe I will work there too who knows. I would like to. Thanks for your prayers and love. I love you too and pray for you. Tell the DWSERS I said hi and everyone I know that you know I know. haha confusing! I love you mom and dad too. Take good care of la cucaracha the green car. Does it still have the woofer and everything? Awesome!

Package delivered by the Marus
The Maru Family was kind enough to drive 2 hours to deliver a package to Elder Wikstrom from me (his mom). When they arrived, people thought they were Elder Wikstrom's family coming to get him from his mission. Too funny. He said people believe he is Argentine.
