This week has been a great week! We had a baptism and it all turned out well! Maria Angelica Mizzau is her name and she is 60 years old. she is so happy!=) were super happy too, in this ward Boulogne that we are in right now had 8 baptisms in the year 2014 and has a goal of 16 just for the year. hopefully with my companion we can help that goal jump up alot higher. This weekend we have another baptism of a 29 year old guy named Angel Duarte and then the 7th of march we have the baptism of Patricia who is looking for the true church. We had like 10 investigadores in church on sunday and the Bishop is so happy with us that he said he is going to take us to Pizza Libre its a buffet of pizza! im am starvin like a marvin. Elder Cruz my companion and I are working super hard and were are seeing the fruits of the work. the last week we were able to have 36 lessons with member in a week and this week we had 26. The members here are super awesome and help us out alot. Our area has two parts one that is called villa Santana and the other is Bajo Boulogne, we do divisions with members sunday mornings and go looking for everyone! We know that all the success comes from God but through our Diligence our Obedience and our Faith in Jesus Christ and his Infinite Atonement for mankind. My first week we had 49 people in church and we worked hard and had 69 people in church and at the end of sacrament meeting 3 more arrived! The zone leaders told us that President is way happy and satisfied with our work here. I just want to let you all know that i know that all this success comes from God not from us, like in the book of mormon when ammon said this: 11 Pero Ammón le dijo: No me jacto de mi propia fuerza ni en mi propia sabiduría, mas he aquí, mi gozo es completo; sí, mi corazón rebosa de gozo, y me regocijaré en mi Dios.

Things are going great and the mission is the best! I hope you all have a great week and dont forget that its Slow Sunday!!!

18 De cierto de cierto os digo, que el hombre no solo vivira del pan pero tambien de la hamburgesa la papas fritas y la coca cola.=D! haha;)

The end is a joke, he wrote it like a scripture:

1 Wikstrom 17:18

18 Verily verily I say, man cannot live by bread alone but also hamburger fries and coke.

more pictures

hey how goes it? i sent alot of pictures today i hope you like them! I am sorry i didnt write yesterday i was looking all over for a open internet place but here there is Carnaval and everything closed down with chain and lock and gates and stuff. Yesterday we had an awesome pday. we went to a huge shopping center called unicenter and we bowled. we saw an american family there friends of president ayre and i went and talked to them and they told me that they wanted to buy us something and they gave me 1000 pesos for all the missionaries to bowl and go get icecream after! It was soooo awesome. We are working in a place called Bajo Boulogne and Villa Santana. We are having alllot of success in this area. We had a baptism of a 14 year old girl named Fiama and this weekend a 65 year old lady named Angelica and then on the 28th Angel he is 29 years old and asked me to baptism him! They are all part of the same family that elder Nielsen and Elder Cruz found before i got here. There are literally like 30 people or more in this house. All family and friends and then the 7th of march i imagine that we will have more baptisms. My Zone leader Elder Solis from Mexico told me yesterday that President called him and is happy with our work here in Boulogne! I have learned pretty well my area so far for having one week. In this area we have Monoblocks like in Soldati but just alittle different, not as famous as soldati. We have a part of the area called Beccar that has mansions that take up a whole block and also one of the most dangerous villas called the villa caba. But we dont work in this villa because its like 40 minutes or more from the chapel and the buses dont pass that often ecspecially on sunday and there is only one member active that could help us around there cause we dont know the area. the rest that are active go to San fernando because its closer than Boulogne. i dont know why we have that area beccar. Elder Cruz is awesome he makes me feel like i am being trained, he came super prepared on the mission. hes a good companion. hes funny too! we get along great! The mission is the best experience ever! I love the mission and i love to teach now that i understand well how to teach and ask good questions that make people think. The mission is really the best.
In the house our hot water hasnt came out for like the whole week, i disconnected the nozzel on the wall and water went shooting everywhere and then while water was shooting everywhere i connected it and now we have hot water again! my companion told me what needed to be done and i did it and now we have hot water! The house is really small and our neighboors smoke alllooott and its not cigarettes and the smell enters in and makes me angry we always have the back door open though because its hot but well have to close it now. This zone is awesome, i didnt want to go back to the north zone but i am really enjoying it alot! we are going to baptize alot and we are happy for all the people that the lord has prepared for us.

Things sound good at home i am happy for that! Here we teach alot of lessons to people. the members help us out alot and we were finally able to see the fruits of hard work and lots of lessons with member, because its through the members that missionaries find baptisms! someone that has a connection in one way or another to the members. Here we get to know alot of new people everyday and teach them I think that the mission is the happiest time of my life! Its really awesome to see and know how the lord works in the lives of all of us! I was also able to give a blessing yesterday to a member and i remember how the spirit so easily guided my words and helped me to say things i wouldve never even imagined me saying! I have never experienced spiritual growth like i do and have and am in the mission! I really love missionary work and know that it is the work of God! I know that Joseph Smith Restored his true and only Church, and that Jesus is the Christ! I always imagine what it was like in the premortal life with God and Jesus Christ and how we choose to come here and make desiciones. i think that the mission is a great experience to help one who is willing to serve and obey God come closer to him and get to know him more and understand his work! I feel the love of the savior in my life and know that its real and true! I know that Thomas S Monson is the true and living prophet and revelator called by God in these days! I have no doubt that the Atonement of Jesus Christ can heal alllllllll wounds and help overcome whatever challenge may come! There is absolutly no doubt in my mind of the reality of these things and the importance it is to obey the commandments of God in all things and all ways! I know without doubt also that the Book of Mormon is the true and that he who reads and studies its pages can come closer unto God, infact i know that this book will bring a man closer to God more than any other book that exist on this earth! Its incredible the mission, the experiences i have here i wouldnt trade for all the riches in the world! THE WORK IS TRUE! I love when it talks in the book of mormon about the atonement of Jesus Christ and the crucial importance that mankind has for Jesus Christ. We can never repay our savior, but obeying im is all he asks for! =D
Thanks for the article you sent me the last week i really liked it!
Love
