More pictures

The members in San Pedro are so awesome. I started receiving several pictures! I'm loving every minute of it!

These pictures were posted on Facebook by Lalo Krenz, Brady's mission leader in San Pedro.

He wrote that Brady is cool.

Elder Wikstrom, Tomas Perez, and Elder Wild. Tomas posted that they are his body guards.

Hey Mom how goes it?
San Pedro is the best area around. The members are soo awesome. Lalo is the best mission leader in the world. He does such a great job at his calling and I love spending time with him! He is so awesome. Pablo was teaching me the guitar too, good songs, and his wife is a really great cook! We also had to get a bike fixed and he did it for free for us too. My companion ripped his handlebars off the bike...don't ask how..we don't know either. hahahaha. That is pretty cool that I am getting lots of friend requests on facebook. The people here are all pretty cool. Matias Maru is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome, he is an English professor so he knows English completely. We spend a lot of time with him. He would be someone I want to come back and visit already! He is awesome and so is the Krenz family! The area is really beautiful. the area I serve in is poor and dirt roads, and farms. It's dangerous in the night, the members say, but nothin ever happens. There are tons of kids that call our names, like ELDERS!, that wave to us and some kids ask for our money, that we don't have, pero bueno. We have English classes every Wednesday at 7. My companion teaches. He does a good job. Lalo is one of the students there, and it's so fun! Every Friday we play soccer or ping pong for young mens. The president is a new convert so he is still learning how to do things like young mens.
Elder Wild had his grandpa pass away this week on like Wednesday, so it was a bad week for him but he hold himself together really well. He said it was his worst week on the mission. He got to call home and talk to his parents, and went to Matias house for comfort that night. I did the district calls in the night and he was sitting by me and said I did a good job. He is the district leader and needs to do them, but he didn't feel like doing them that night, so I did. It is starting to get a tad bit cooler here but tons of mosquitoes still! We take cold showers in the morning and man it is cold.
In the night we don't have time to make dinner. If we eat in the night it's like chocolate milk or milk with a bag of cookies and we eat while we plan and stuff. The only time I eat meals is at lunch. Doing fasts, though, aren't hard because we go 24 a lot without food, from lunch to lunch. I had my first asado in Argentina on Saturday, it is like a bbq. We had goat, with pig, soooooooooooooo good, cooked crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, tons of flavor, but the meat down here still has some hairs on the skin. Like on the chicken and goat and stuff, sometimes there are little hairs left over from skinning the animal, but it's ok. The asado was sooooooo good!

Love you mom and dad

6 months on his mission

Hey There Mom and Dad,
First of all, thanks for getting up early to catch me online and I understand that it's very early for you. I am sorry that I have emailed other people before I have emailed you. I need to do a better job at that. We had left email today cause we wanted to buy somethings before everything closed down for the siesta. I told my companion that we should come back, that I felt bad cause I didn't email you and dad, so I am back. I really like the Pablo Mallo family. Here is Tina it's pronounced Mysho, their name is. He is soo awesome. We eat with him on Wednesdays. If I get facebook requests from any girl that doesn't look mother approved then don't accept her. Lalo Krenz and Pablo Mallo are sooo awesome though! I usually try to get on and email at around 11 here in this area. Elder Wild is good about that and giving me the time I need to email everyone. He is a really thoughtful companion! I got my Birthday package and then my Christmas packages at the MTC right before I left, and the carmels and Dew from Nate and Melanie Wright. Elder Wild is happy that you want to go to his homecoming. He is stressed right now cause his 19 year old sister just got engaged to a guy he doesn't know and he is bothered about that, haha. It's something that is kinda funny. They've only been dating 3 months. He doesn't like it. I thought it was funny but I can kinda see how that would really suck, especially cause its a younger sibling, and he wants to spend time with his sister when he gets home and hopes he still can with this guy around. I have no idea what Deborah is. I can only thing of Everybody Loves Raymond when he yells Debrah! It's crazy now cause I am pronouncing things in Spanish and I sometimes catch myself talking with an accent and sometimes I know the Spanish word for something but not the English word, crazy huh? hahaha. He doesn't know any of those people in Roy. He works at Camp Bartlett Scout Camp. I will take some more pictures of the apartment and city and bikes and stuff. I came into a beat up apartment and we don't have hot water so the pictures I take will kinda be nasty, like the toilet is bad and the kitchen hasn't been cleaned for a long time before I got here. It's in bad condition but it's a big apartment. When it was hot we slept outside on the balcony. We throw our mattresses out there. We have a bar/dance club across the street and around the corner from our house. Every Friday and Saturday night we can't sleep cause the music and the people yelling and the motorcycles that backfire all night. I never got the primary letters. I got one package from Taryn but I understand that there were two. I got a white tie, a football tie, Reeses, Sour Patch Kids, and Swedish Fish from her, I was very happy about that! I never told her thanks though. I love you mom. I am doing soo good and I am learning to get over my problems. I really think the Lord just is helping me overcome OCD. I have gotten soo much better with my worrying. I still am working on it though. I have improved soo much though, gracias a El Senor! My Castillano is improving really much and I am very able to understand people if I listen to them. I still need to practice on speaking correctly though. Matias Maru is a ward member here and is teaching us Spanish in the mornings sometimes according to my needs of Spanish. We are going to work on conditional the next time. I bought a movie at the temple for 15 pesos about the life of Thomas S. Monson. It's called "On the Lord's Errand", sooooooooooooooooooo good. I recommend you go buy it and watch it. It's a documentary. I really like documentaries! I will have to get a picture of the district here soon and show you our district. We're pretty cool! I will go read another thing you sent me and see what more I can answer.
Te quiero voz y Dad.
Elder Brady Wikstrom! =)

Hey Mom,
I went to the temple today. I had a really good time, and it was very spiritual. I love the temple here, it is very beautiful. It was cool to do it all in Spanish. I understood it all too! I am doing really good at understanding, but I am still working on saying things in the correct tense, but I understand really great and can read it without a problem. Me and Elder Wild are getting along really good. We both love to serve here in San Pedro and we have a really good time doing it! I am not sure if I told you, but we also have bikes in our area. We get going faster than the cars sometimes.
Its so safe up here that I could sleep outside here, so we do, on our balcony, cause it's so hot at night and we live on the 3rd floor. Its a big apartment with tons of windows and a balcony. In the mornings we have cold water and sometimes it takes a lot of will power to hop in the ice cold water on cool mornings. I really miss you and love you, but I love serving in the mission! You guys should learn Spanish and we should visit this place in like 2016 or something! Let's go as DWSers, and Grandpa, and Michael! I don't have much time. Read the Book of Mormon every night and pray every night, and go to church every Sunday! I promise the blessings and miracles will flow in like never before! If you are already doing that then do what you once told me to do and write down 10 or more blessings you recognized that you received today, and do that for every day. Write it in your dang ole journals!
