¡Hola! ¿como andan?
Hey there amigos, ¿Todo bien allá? Todo bien acá. This week was good, we traveled a lot this week and lost a lot of time to work in our area. I was able to talk to my family and grandparents yesterday that was pretty sweet stuff! I had trouble with some of my English, but I did before I left too, haha. I am doing great, I never thought a mission was so fun. Once you learn to love and serve the people, it's just great from then on and time will fly by. Time is going too fast though! I hope you all are doing great and that things are going for ya.
We had some meetings that were really awesome this week, we learned better how to teach with analogy, that wasn't really the subject but that was something I pulled out of it. Teaching at the same level that the person you're teaching is at. I pulled some great things outta that. I always find something new and great in Preach My Gospel too!
One of the 70 came down and was playing as a missionary, he was teaching the commandment of tithing, he said to someone in role play: You have plenty of material items right?, (the guy answered, yes) (then the 70 said) If something terrible had happened to your child, and they needed surgery right then but you didn't have money and there was no other support system, would you sell whatever you had to get the money so your kid could get that surgery? (and the guy was like well of course!) so he asked, Why? and the guys was like cause I love my child! and then the next question he asked was, so why do we obey the commandment of tithing that the Lord has given us? I had remembered the scripture in John 14:15 which says, (The Lord speaking) "If you love me, obey my commandments." and it hit my hard like, whoa, we do these things simply cause we love the Lord, no matter what it takes we should do everything in our power to obey the Lord! He will bless you! I just thought about it and I loved it so I shared it! and yup that's about it. Have a good week see ya later man!
