How you all doing? Things here are cold, and wet right now. Right now we are working with getting the Rodriguez family married. Things with that are still going good, they want to get married now they just have to go and get a date. I hope I will be able to be here when they get married. I am pretty sure I will be going to another area in like 2 weeks. I don't want to go but I have been here awhile now in San Pedro. I Love being able to help this family progress to marriage and then the dad to baptism. I have been able to be here a lot to see them be blessed by the Lord as they progress in the pathway of obeying Him and trusting in Him. Being on the outside of things and looking in I can see some of the blessings that the Lord gives to this family for trusting in Him and obeying Him. It's sometimes hard to recognize our own blessings and answers to our prayers, but they are there and I testify to that! I have seen the Lord bless the crap out of this family (maybe crap isn't the right word for this but I don't know how else to explain it, haha) I think to myself, I don't remember receiving an answer to this prayer or that, or I don't notice any difference in this or that, but then I look through my Journal and see the things that I have put, what I had been through and how I made it through those difficult situations and think again that the Lord really is attentive to us and our problems and helps us. Only those who really seek guidance and help from Him will know how to receive it and recognize the Lord's answers. The Lord works in mysterious ways, but with His wisdom! He knows what's going on. He's on the outside looking in on us. He sees what's ahead and what we've passed, and where we are and why we're here, the only difference is that where He can see isn't where I can see. For this reason I should trust Him, obey Him with exactness and look unto Him for guidance in prayer and scripture and church. He leads the way, and he made it possible to follow. Just remember, when you don't understand why things happen, He does. Trust Him, He's showing you the way. If we take our own way we won't make it, if we take the Lord's way, even though it might be rough, we'll make it and be so grateful. The coals that go through the most pressure and fire turn out to be the strongest and most pretty diamond, think about it. The Lord loves us and watches over us.
